Year 6 SATs Information for Parents

The 2025 End of Key Stage Assessments (SAT's) will take place on the following days:

Monday 12th May 2025: Spelling, Punctuation & Grammar - Paper 1

Monday 12th May 2025: Spelling, Punctuation & Grammar - Paper 2

Tuesday 13th May 2025: English Reading

Wednesday 14th May 2025: Maths Paper 1 (Arithmetic)

Wednesday 14th May 2025: Maths Paper 2 (Reasoning)

Thursday 15th May 2025: Maths Paper 3 (Reasoning)

I want to reassure you that these assessments are something that the vast majority of children in Year 6 across the country will be sitting on the same day and that every effort will be taken to ensure your child does not feel anxious or worried about sitting these assessments. Your child will have been working towards these assessments throughout their Primary School life and will be as prepared as they possibly can be to achieve their full potential. More information on what the your child will be assessed on is within the document below, but as always if you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact your child's class teacher who will happily answer any questions you may have about the assessments.

Hard Federation

On behalf of the staff, pupils and governors of Furze Infants and Warren Junior School I would like to welcome you to our federation. We are two schools working together under one Governing Body for the benefit of our pupils and the success of the community we live in.
